Eugene Lowdown Your Eugene Weekend Game Plan
Everything Happening In Eugene In Your Inbox Twice A Week!
Go vintage at Eugene Vintage Fest, then earn your snacks with fresh Ridgeline views at Moon Mountain Park.

Good morning. It's Friday, May 15. Eugene is serving peak spring energy: new trails to stomp around on, and a sustainability-minded excuse to shop like it's a treasure hunt. Make it a big-air, small-waste kind of weekend. Alright, here's today's edition of your Eugene Lowdown:

Your Closet Called: Go Vintage

Sunday, noon-6 p.m., Eugene Vintage Fest takes over the Farmers Market Pavillion, 85 E 8th Ave, with 60+ vendors selling vintage clothing, furniture, jewelry, trinkets and art. Expect Chaiyo Thai and Jermaican Jerk-culture, DJs from Epic Seconds, live caricatures by Cassie Taylor, plus a fix-it fair and free reusable dishware.

Moon Mountain Finally Gets Its Moment

Lace up: Moon Mountain Park is officially open, adding more than 150 acres of new hiking trails and viewpoints to the Ridgeline Trail System. The city finished final trail markers and trailhead parking improvements Thursday. The summit trail is now accessible, with panoramic looks across the Willamette Valley.
